if you have some extra time let’s discuss on some actions that can be done to improve the experience of scanning VMs
related to this thread - Improvements to scanning whole machine

moreover this week we had a thread here - Grype scans in batches large SBOMs - #18 by TimBrown1611

which is related to big VMs scanning
