hello all,  
I’m reaching out to find what is the status on this pr - [Squashed all layers by tomersein · Pull Request #3138 · anchore/syft · GitHub](https://github.com/anchore/syft/pull/3138)  
it will be really helpful to understand if there is a chance it will be merged, in case it won’t I don’t mind closing it.
