# Grype versions before v0.51.0 (Oct 2022) will stop getting new vulnerability data on 25 January 2025

If you are using a version of Grype `v0.51.0` or later, this announcement has no effect on you, and you can carry on.

On 25 Janurary 2025 (60 days from now), we will stop publishing updates for Grype DB for schemas v3 and v4. All related processing code will be removed.
